I've been for the "free dining" the past three years but at CBR. This year we're booked with the bounceback at the BC. I'd like to switch to a Villa but with the bounceback code I have it isn't possible.
:sad2:

My question:
In previous years, have any of you booked at a Villa (like the BCV or BWV) when the "free dining" promo was released in April?

I'd like to know if this might be a possibility and just will make a new ressie. thanks!!!!:goodvibes

Thanks for the reply!:goodvibes

I was offered OKW or SSR when I tried to change, but with us having the Deluxe DDP we'd like to be near Epcot.

There are so many people that do free dining, someone had to have been at the BC or BW villas... anyone?:rolleyes1

BC and BW have less villas than SSR or OKW. VWL, as well. They tend to book easier. I have seen the AP discounts and other offers at SSR and OKW, but usually BC and BW book up pretty well without the extra incentives.

I know only a certain # of rooms is available at each resort with free dining, etc. It's possible the BWV and BCV were not included, just regular BW and BC rooms. :confused3

I'm with you, hmillerbarilla! :goodvibes

I sure hope we can get that 2BR at BCV with discounted DxDDP! :thumbsup2

I don't want to dash your hopes (I wish you luck in getting it), but...;)

AP discounts, free dining are usually used to fill up the rooms that normally do not book.

At BC or BW, you may be lucky and get a 1BR villa with free dining, since many DVCer's save points by getting a studio, or need the 2BR because of party size.

SSR is usually available for the promos because it has not all been sold, so there are more villas available to the Central Reservations.

BW and BC are smaller DVC's and if the owners at those resorts don't stay there, usually someone who owns at another resort will snap up the rooms at 7 months out. And with DVC, usually the times Disney recognizes as "slower" are prime times for DVC. Points are low, crowds are better.

I know... it seems like the chances of getting the 2bd are slim, but at least I changed our rooms from the Poly to the BC with my code, so I'm in the location I want with the discounted Deluxe DDP.:)

I think we're going to book a 2BD BCV room only now as well & see if we can transfer a code when/if it comes out in the spring.

I'll just try to stay thinking positive...pixiedust:

Thanks for your help!:goodvibes

Actually BWV is a pretty good-sized DVC resort. It's the third largest, after SSR and OKW, with 383 villas. BCV and VWL are small. You might have a pretty good chance of getting into BWV, but only CRO can tell you for sure.

I booked the free dining package last April, was hoping for BC, but was told they had no rooms left for the free dining. But they did have a studio at BCV available and as it was just me and my DH I took it. Awesome stay...we both loved it. So much so that we took the plunge ourselves and are now DVC members! We went for a brief visit in Dec. to SSR and have 3 more trips planned for '08! :yay:

Ooh, that's encouraging to hear! :wizard:

If we don't get this 2BR, I'm going to have to sleep on hmillerbarilla's daybed at the BC and that might get a little crowded! ;)

But hey, we'll be at WDW, so who can complain?

This is the best news!:cool1: :cool1:

We're thinking this trip (if we get the villas) will be a great opportunity to try out the DVC & see if it is a good fit for us.:goodvibes

My DH isn't too crazy about having smiller on our couch in the BC but he'll deal with it if he has to.

Now here's hoping free dining does happen! :wizard:
