I had to find some interesting facts about the USA today and this is what I got ( just thought it was cool and wanted to share it with all of you!)
The Mississippi-Missouri is the longest river in the USA.
Lake Michigan is the USs largest lake.
1,525,000,000 miles of telephone wires are strung across the USA.
166,875,000,000 pieces of mail is delivered each year in the USA.
Two thirds of the worlds eggplant is grown in New Jersey.
Blueberry Jelly Bellies were made for Ronald Reagan.
The USA once issued a 5-cent bill.
123,000,000 cars are being driven down USAs highways.
32% of USA land is owned by the government.
The first president to be born in a hospital was Jimmy Carter.
George Washington was so scared of being buried alive that after he died he wanted to be left out for three days to make sure he was really dead.
Andrew Jackson was the only president that believed the world was flat.
Although Ohio is listed as the 17th state it is technically number 47 because until August 7th, 1953, Congress forgot to vote on a resolution to admit Ohio into the Union.
