Pretty amazing day

We started 12/23 with minimal expectations: rope drop HS, knock out our fast passes and try to get in an extra ride or two. Also hope for a patio seat at rose and crown (had a late res for illuminations).

Worked out pretty amazingly.

HS:
Arrived at 8 for 9 rope drop.
First rock n roller coaster car.
Walked on tower of terror.
TSM FP
Star Tours FP plus standby
ToT FP
Back to resort by noon for lunch.

On the way back to resort managed to score a 4th FP for Frozen. Then this happened:

Dinner at 7:50. Frozen FP at 5:20. Got to Epcot around 4:30.

3 caballeros (gotta do it while we can!)
Frozen
While in the frozen FP queue scored a test track for 6:30
Mission space green
Test track
While in the test track queue scored a soarin for 6:55
Soarin

Dinner at rose and crown.... scored a perfect illuminations view patio table.

3 days left and I’m assuming that’s about as good as it gets given what’s coming.....

Wow, what a great day! I wouldn't think you would have been able to get two tier 1 FP without using tier 2. Maybe since it was 4th, 5th, etc?

After the first three FP selections are used, there are no tiering limitations for any subsequent FPs.
