What building/room has the prettiest golf course views from OKW and SSR?

Pictures would be great too if you have any. Thank you so much. :flower3:

Great question and I am not sure my answer will add any value!

We love to stay at OKW (one of the resorts where we own points) but after all the trips I have moved "Golf Course View" to the bottom of my priority list. I have found that each building may have multiple views depending on your room and just because you have a golf course view doesn't mean you can really watch the golfers. One location may face down the fairway and you can't see the golfers coming. The other may face up the fairway but you can't see where the ball lands. We did stay in building 47 I believe and we could see all the way back to the t-box on #4. My sons and I (during breakfast) would bet on how many of the group would land in the fairway! It was actually quite hysterical and we got so into it we would make bets like "1 in the water, 2 in the fairway, one in the rough".

We also stayed in bldg 64 I believe. This was a long time ago but you had a great view of the green on the par 3 7th if memory serves me correctly. The only problem was you really couldn't see the golfers teeing off very well.

If you really want a golf-course view, I hope some others will post more specifics than I have. I do hope this helps a little bit.

We had a really pretty golf course view. We were in building 42 (room 4223 - 2BR) in Turtle Pond. It was a great location. It was right by the pool, and that particular pool has a snack bar.

All around, it's one of my favorite DVC spots! :lovestruc

Definitely. It's one of the prettier views in all of our stays at various DVCs. Plus, if you've never stayed at OKW and get a 1 or 2-br, you're in for a treat. The balconies are unbelievable (compared to the other DVCs). I was out on the balcony a ton during that trip. I never realized how fun (and funny) it was watching people tee off. Lots of people talking about ducks! :rotfl:

P.S. My pleasure posting the pics!

SSR Grandstand really suprised me. In the 2 far buildings you can get a wonderful view composed of the nearby SSR landscaping, then the golf course (although you only really see one hole), then the river (with boats going to OKW and POR)
Even the 2 closer Grandstand buildings look to have golf views from most every room (I think the end of one building faces the pool instead of the golf course)
Then the Grandstand bus stop has nice golf course view, that makes it the most relaxing bus stop on property IMHO..

We stayed in building 17, which overlooks the 6th green. I loved the view. We also had a direct view of the lighthouse by the main pool and the Peninsular Road bridge. I wish I had some photos to post but they were all accidentally deleted. There was a photo on the LBV golf site that was similar to our view -- not sure if it's still there.

Our best OKW room was the top floor of building 64. It overlooks the 7th hole of LBV and this hole is a par 3 and an island. You must tee off and then clear a pretty good stretch of water to get to the green. It was so much fun sitting out on the balcony watching the golfers and many balls splash into the water.
