I have several M&M mini tubes ready for the pressed penny labels. Do you remove the original M&M labels or do you just tape the pressed penny labels over it? Also, does anyone know how many quarters & pennies it will hold? I want to go ahead and get them filled...
Thank you!
Melissa

I remove the old sticker and clean the tube before adding a new label - it stays on better. Also, it will hold about 20 "sets" of the change needed. Have fun collecting!

I was just thinking about this today! I was going to request to see if anyone DISigned anything for these tubes. Do you by chance remember who did yours?? I want to try and start working on this too!

I also want to start working on candy bar wrappers and shirts and maganets and window clings and and and :rotfl:

I think it may have been Natalie or Kari....Donatalie or Rumblytumbly...if you cant find their photobuckets....its attached to their signatures...i can try to paste the links here for you later :)

I got mine from Natalie's 4 shared I believe.

Just a note of caution, these are for the larger penny tubes. I have the onse you would pick up in a gas station and they were quite a bit too big as is. I had to trim all the way to the word Penny out of mine (though it might not have been so much if I had turned the label the other way. After I learned on mine, I resized the kids' so they would fit from the start.

I had full sized Avery label sheets at home, so I just printed the labels out on those and stuck them to the tube. I did take the label off first.

I was looking at the Pressed Penny list at All Ears and I have a few pressed penny questions. I'm hoping the pressed penny experts can help me out here.

1) Does each machine have 3 or 4 designs to choose from? If so, do ya'll collect EVERY design or just one from each machine?
2) At Captain Jack's, is it one machine with 6 designs to choose from or is it 2 machines with 3 designs each? I guess I'll need .51 cents for each design so I'd better starting saving my change!
3) Ooooh, and which pennies to use for the best impressions? By that I mean, I've read somewhere to use pennies made before a certain year for the best shiney features.

Thanks ya'll!!!!

Cynthia
