Pressed Penny Machines still exist?

Was just there Sept 24th-28th and saw a bunch of these dollar/credit card penny presses. Didn’t notice many old school penny press machines.

We were there in August. They also now have machines that take credit cards. You can get 8 pennies (theirs, no need to bring any) for $5.00.

There are still a few old, crank style for one penny and 50 cents, but they are definitely bring removed.

Glad they are still there. By one daughter has several dozen of these!!

Well that stinks. I’ll probably still bring some change with me if I find some of the machines next week. But it all just sad. Didn’t the Main Street train station use to have the machines too?

so for the $1 do i need dollar singles to carry around? or do those new machines take cc? wish you can just scan your magic bands!

When I used the one in HS near ToT, I had to use a CC, there was no option for cash. Scanning the magic bands would be more convenient, maybe they will incorporate that in future.

We were there last week and I found a few machines in MK not changed over yet: At least 2 in the Emporium, 1 near Splash Mtn photos, 1 in the Country Bear Jamboree waiting area, 1 in the breezeway between adventureland and frontierland by the restrooms. The machine outside of Hall of Presidents exit is not changed over, but it was out of order. I think the frontierland shooting arcade were still taking change, but I'm not positive.

The machines downstairs of the Main street RR station were already changed over. Also the machines near Haunted mansion, jungle cruise, Space mtn, Big top circus and Frontierland walkway.

I did not check the machines at Sir Mickey, the newsstand, Castle Couture, Main street firehouse or Tony's town square.

I do not plan on collecting any new designs once all the machines have been converted, but I am going to miss it.
