Title says it all....do we need to make sure we're stocked with quarters and pennies for the dark side leg of our trip??

they have them!!!

i take my quarters and pennies with me on my shopping days in the parks!!!

i have a lot of them.
and many doubles and triples of the same ones.
i keep forgetting which ones i already have.......

i'm totally addicted to the pins and pressed pennies

Yes, they have pressed penny machines in both US and IOA. I was disappointed WWoHP didn't have one... but I went two years ago. They could have one there now.

We have an coin album and we add to it every trip. I always go by the bank and get a new penny roll before we go so they press out looking new and shinny.:cool1:

Does WWOHP have them now?

I would also be very interested in knowing this. My two DDs were really into this at WDW last year and, to a certain extent, at USF but I don't recall seeing these in WWOHP. It would be a great addition for us, I know, and my kids would love to have HP character coins.....they would lose their minds! Also, does anyone know if Universal sells the booklets to keep them in? our other (WDW one) is almost full.

I think WWOHP is probably the only place in both parks where you can't get pressed pennies. It wouldn't make sense with the theming anyway. They could possibly put a machine in the Emporium up front of IOA that sells a lot of HP merchandise, but I can't see a machine like that ever finding its way into Hogsmeade with the iron fist JK Rowling and WB control it with.

That said, I spent the last two days introducing a nephew of mine to pressed pennies and there are a lot of great ones there. One of my favorite machines was in the main store at US and has a fantastic Jaws, King Kong and ET design. Many of the areas have two pressed penny machines with different designs, so there is an opportunity for a lot of pennies (which is good, because the pressed penny book we bought for him at Universal has a ton of slots!)
