Pressed Penny Location Changes noted on Dec. trip

For our trip in Dec., we decided to try to collect as many of the pressed pennies as we could. We knew we couldn’t get all of them because we weren’t going to the water parks, Disney Quest, or the Sports Complex. We managed to collect most of them though. We had 333 when we came home. When we sorted them into series, we found that 13 were duplicates ( we saw other duplicate designs, but tried to be careful and not get duplicates.), so we have 320 pennies. We found only 6 machines that were out of order (we expected more to be broken), and 4 of them were fixed when we went back to check. That’s 4 pennies that we weren’t able to get.

I tried to keep track of the pennies that were different than what was on the lists I had. I know that I may have simply overlooked a machine that was there, and we didn’t ride every ride, so some of them may have had machines at the end. I’m also missing 8 pennies that belong in series, so I have to do some research to see if I can hunt them down for our next trip.

Mission Space there was a machine here with 3 pennies, but I forgot to write down the designs, I think they all 3 had a space theme

Magic Kingdom
The machine listed for Disney Clothiers is at Hall of Champions
Tinkerbelle’s Treasures only has one machine, with Peter Pan, Tink, Captain Hook
The machine listed as inside Toontown is at County Bounty
There is a machine near the corner by Big Thunder Mountain Railroad with BTMR, Frontier Chip & Dale, Frontier Mickey, Frontier Minnie

While trying to figure out where to find the pennies I'm missing, I found a fantastic website with a very precise list that was updated in Dec.

We have been collecting them for several years now and I can't wait to get them at WDW. We havethem from The Oklahoma City Zoo, El Paso, TX Zoo, Six Flags~Fiesta Texas (San Antonio), Lincoln, NM~Billy the Kid Museum, Carlsbad, NM~Carlsbad Caverns, Roswell, NM~UFO Museum, Capitan, NM~Home of Smokey Bear, Carlsbad, NM~Living Desert Zoo, Albuquerque, NM ~Rio Grand Zoo, Grand Canyon, and quite a few from Las Vegas. WE also have a big coin from Hoover Dam.

I need to start saving my older pennies for this!
