I just returned from my honeymoon at Disneyland, and I realized that I forgot to get us a pressed penny while there... Does anyone have any advice as to the best way to get one (since I can't afford to go back to California for one right now LOL)? Thanks in advance!!

I've heard you can find anything on Ebay.

But probably you sould use it as the catalyst to get back to a Disney Park.

Congradulations.

We get them from DisneyWorld all the time. If that's where you had gone, I would send you one.:grouphug:

Good luck and congrats!

Ebay. Looks like they're listed at $3/coin and $5 for a set of 3 for the most part.

Which one are you looking for? We will be there in two weeks & could get one for you if you like.

Slight OT, but do they pressed penny books telling you where all the press machines are and which characters they have? Our son is collecting them and thought it would be fun to get a book and see which ones were missing!

It's hard to admit on this board, but I'm a WDW girl. Do you know if there is a website like this for DisneyWorld?

This one also has a graphics based list for DLR with a map that points out all the different locations. I'm definitely printing out both sets for our DLR trip this year and our WDW trip next year. I think DD2 will be fascinated with this.

One question that I can't seem to find the answer to: How much do they cost in addition to the penny/nickel/dime/quarter used for the pressing?

At WDW, the pressed pennies cost 50 cents (2 quarters), and you need 4 quarters in addition to the one you want to press for the pressed quarter machine. I won't know about DLR for 76 more days but I am guessing it's the same.
I have never seen a nickel or dime machine.

We did dimes and pennies a few weeks ago at DLR and both were 50 cents in addition to the coin being pressed.

Not really how the penny press actually works. Does each machine only do one print/picture or will it do more than one. I am going to try to look for a jiminy cricket one.

Usually each machine will have a few designs you can choose from. I don't see any Jiminy's on the link provided though :(

Sorry I missed this!

I am here! I would gladly do it for you if you tell me what you want and if you don't think it's creepy to give a stranger your address.
