Does DLP have anything like this? I plan on collecting autographs...do the characters sign their names in French or English? But I was looking for something cheap and easy to collect, other than my requisite ears from each park I have visited

TIA

There was a thread about this a couple of days ago. I'm pretty sure there aren't any coin pressing machines in DLRP. But you can buy special DLRP coins. There are a few to collect. You can buy these from machines throughout the park (theres some under main street railroad station) or at the tills in some of the shops. They're about the size of a £2 coin and feature pictures of the characters and/or monuments from the park.

There are new autograph books out for the 15th Celebration which have a plastic wallet for a photo next to the character's autograph. My niece has got one and it looks really good.

I also collect fridge magnets (usually about €3) and Christmas tree decorations. Lots of them have DLRP on and quite a few have the year on.

Im no expert on DLP but I seem to remember seeing something like a pressed penny machine last time we visited. In the covered walkway that runs alongside main street usa (as you walk up main street towards the castle, the walkway is on your right behind the market house deli)

Just got back 2 weeks ago. They don't have pressed pennies like they do in Florrida but you can buy a collectable gold shiney coin for 2 Euros. They are for sale in almost every shop and vending machines around the parks and the Disney Village too. As for the characters they sign their names in both French and English I immagine it just depends who you get. We bumped into a few 'English' characters, Cruela De Ville, Belle and Santa to name a few! Chip & Dale signed 'Tic & Tac' and Mr Smee signed Mr Mouche. Hey.... all added to the fun! Hope this helps! :santa:

Don't know if this is what you're interested in but there are two machines in the shop of Rainforest Cafe that press 5 cent (euro) coins. Each machine offers 4 different designs, I can't remember if it actually says Disneyland Paris on them, but there's one with an Eiffel Tower on it. You select the design you want, line up a 1€ coin and a 5 cent coin, and turn a handle until your coin drops through.

You'll have no problem finding the collectable coin machines (2€), they're all over the place.
