Presidents weekend vs. July 14th week? Crowds? Heat?

My family usually travels to Disney during Presidents' Day week before and weekend. We have been there with the big crowds on Sunday and Monday . We are considering a trip to US and IOS this summer during our vacation week, but are worried about the heat and the crowds. Do you guys think the crowds are better or worse during the summer week of July 14th. No doubt the weather will be worse than February which has great weather, usually( there was a freeze warning one day while we were there in feb. 2012).
Also we were worried transformers will open close to that time and it will be even worse. We have to go in the summer because our resort stay was an award from my husbands business. Either that week or the week after are the weeks we can use the time.

I think crowds will be about the same for both weeks. You're talking about a holiday week during slow season vs. a non-holiday week in busy season so both should work out. February weather is much easier to deal with than July when it's miserable most of the time. Transformers will hopefully be open by the middle part of July so if you decide to visit in February, you will obviously miss it. Still...I would choose February.

Thanks! I wish we could go in february but the award is just for this summer. I just needed to know what type of crowds to expect. We did think about postponing the Orlando trip until another year, but it would be so affordable to go when accommodations are free! Our luck...transformers will open while we are there!!!!
