Do all states have the whole week off after Presidents day . Im from NY and could go at the end of the week and avoid the holiday. I wonder how the crowds are

I am going President's week and I expect that the crowds will be bad. It is also the week of the Daytona 500 for Nascar which will add to the crowds.

I'm forced to weather the crowds as I am a teacher and this is my vacation week.

Hope this info helps...

In NJ every town does their own calendar. We used to get the whole week off. This year just Mon & Tues, but I had already booked our week so we are going anyhow.

We were in WDW last year and it was great. Left behind 22" storm for 70 degree weather. Crowds were hevier Mon & Tues, than noticably lighter as the week went on.

See you there

Here in DE the schools are not closed the whole week of President's Day. Most close the Friday before and Monday, President's day.

Here (Alabama) we are out the Thursday and Friday BEFORE and then just Monday. My kids are in a private Christian school...not sure what the public schools are doing this year.

Here in Georgia (just south of Atlanta), most of the schools I have heard of are out for the whole week of President's Day. My crew will be there from the Sunday prior through the Friday after. We are going to skip Monday at the parks and do something else. All the research I have done seems to lean toward the crowds being pretty heavy on Monday and maybe Tuesday, but really thinning out by Wednesday on. I've been several times during the summer and once on Easter Sunday, and I can't imagine the crowds will touch that. Plus fastpass (if you use it well) can eliminate most of the "large crowd" stress.

Have fun!!!:D

We went last year. Arrived the Tuesday after Presidents day and stayed for a week. Crowds were quite manageable except MK - which always seems to be busier than everywhere else. (of course, to me a 20 minute wait for a ride is unacceptable - matter of perception I guess) I've never been President's weekend, but have read it can be quite busy.
