Presidents week

anyone ever have any luck booking a 2 BR at BWV during presidents week at the 7 month window?

We are BCV owners who switched resorts at the 7 month mark. We wanted VWL for 5 nights, Thurs - Mon. of President's Day weekend and then move to BWV for Tues - Thurs. This was for a 2 bedroom.

I called day by day at 9ish for the VWL and received the first 4 nights and had to waitlist for Pres. Day. I wait listed for the three nights of BWV in one chunk calling at the end of the third day. Since I did not get Pres. Day at VWL, I waitlisted for BWV as that single day incase VWL didn't come through. I wouldn't want to get 4 days at VWL, one at BCV and 3 at BWV!

I was assuming that the waitlist would come through fairly quickly, but it didn't. After a few months BWV came though for all 4 days. In the meantime I had heard about VWL having a pool rehab so I cancelled the VWL waitlist for Pres. Day and we did a 4 night VWL / 4 nights BWV trip.

That was much too long discussion for saying 'we got it but had to waitlist'.
