Presidents week or Easter week?

Which is the lesser of two evils? Because of school schedules it is going to be one of these two times next year. Any advice?

I would check with touringplans or some of the other crowd predicting sites.

Only schools in the northeast have President's week off. We have lived in Louisiana, Florida, Virginia, Illinois, and now Texas and have never been in or near a school district that has a week off in February for any reason.

I do realize that a lot of people do have that week off, but nowhere near the entire country.

The week before and the week after Easter are the most crowded of all of the Spring Break weeks. However, schools have their breaks spread out between March and April and most do not coincide with Easter.

Still, Spring Break can be crazy at WDW.

We are locals and went to the park every weekend from January through May. Easter week was definitely more crowded than Presidents week!

I try very hard to avoid high crowd levels, but these days we can only go during summer. Bummer.

One year we did go on Easter week and it was the peak week of the year. One thing I will say is that park hours were great and EMH were fabulous! Two days we entered MK at 7:00 AM (we were at the gate at 6:45 !) We had the best few hours in MK on those days ever!! We loved it and felt so magical to be among the very few on Main Street and Fantasyland.

However, by lunch, it was a mad house, but we were heading in the opposite direction. If you are early morning people, do it. If not, I would actually rather take the summer crowds.
