President's week 2014!

I know it was still March of 2013 but I got an alert from American that some good flights were going to be available. Sure enough, I purchased 4 President's week non-stop round trip tickets from JFK to Tampa for $179!!! Too good a price to turn down. The flights are always the hard part. With them done now it is time to search for a place to stay. Only 10 months to go!

You got a great deal. We purchased our fares for President's Week last week too! We ended up booking one way tickets from BOS to TPA. Our flight down is on American Airlines and it was $121 and our flight back was on United for $92. So, for $213 including all taxes and fees, we have our flights! I would have preferred to fly into MCO, but it was quite a bit more money to do that. We have our flights booked, we booked our rental car with Budget using the same code we have for the past few years, and we just made arrangements to stay in the same rental home that we have for the past three years. It's so nice to know that we are all set to go back.

Would you mind sharing the code for Budget you used.

The funny thing about traveling out of Tampa is it really doesn't take that much more time then MCO and there are NO tolls! When we got into MCO this past February we got stuck at a toll and waited 15 minutes because they only had one booth open for cash and everyone had cash. Rental cars are cheaper in TPA too. So if a good TPA flight comes up its a "no brainer".
