Presidents Week 2012 Car Rental

Hi All,

I think those that are looking for this week will need a seperate thread from regular February rentals because of the supply/demand issue which drives the prices. It's quite a busy week at WDW.

Has anyone had success with a moderately priced reservation? Any codes to share?

To get a good price you best bet is to wait until Jan. Most rental car company coupons that are currently ono the market expire before 2012 so you need to look for coupons either in Dec 2011 or in Jan 2012.
Most of the deals I have gotten lately seam to come at least 3 weeks before our trip. I have booked Alamo 2-3 months out and the price is very high but as the trip gets closer the price drops a lot!
Keep looking on DIS and be sure to look at the other Feb 2012 car rental thread that was just started to find coupons and discount ID numbers.

Another good thing is to join Alamo's Insider program. Its free and they offer better coupons to Insider members. Right now the general public is being offered a $25 off a weekly rental, but Insider members are being offer $35 off a weekly rental coupon.

We have a mini van reserved thru Budget with those infamous codes... MUWZ023 & X474200. Thanks to whomever posted those back in July/August

8days for $277 (includes taxes n fees) = better than we hoped.

Thus far, the next best price using codes is for Avis... $455.

I'll post here if I find anything better.

No, you either preregister, go to the counter or use the kiosk, then you just walk out and pick your vehicle.
