We always go in Feb. but usually early in the month. Hubby wants to go a little later in hopes of warmer weather. He want to spend the day on the lazy river at the water parks.

So my question -- when do the crowds start picking up due to President's Day? Warmer weather is a plus but not if the crowds are bad or we miss out on value season.

You will miss out on value season. We cannot go early Feb anymore because of cchool for DD and last year went Tues post Presidents day for 7 days. (That way she only missed two days of school Crowds were not that bad as long as you are aren't there President's day weekend - I've heard that can be very crowded. We did go to the water park one day.

We were there last year Sun-Thurs. We didn't do any parks on Sunday since we arrived about 5pm (enjoyd 1900 Park Fare and EWP). Monday am we did MGM and PM Epcot. It wasn't too crowded though it did seem a little less the rest of the week. We'll be back same time next year if that says anything.

Enjoy,
Sandy

Our school vacations are always the week following president's week.. if there are crowds at all, it is usually the first weekend (which is the last weekend of president's week).. but we really have never seen anything bad. We typically go that last week of Feb into the first week of March (for example, in 2004 it would be from 2/21 - 3/1). Our kids get a week and a half off so we can stay a little longer and fly home on a weekday.. We have gone many times during this week and only once have we had chilly weather.. (50's) and only for 2 days. The rest of the time it was 70's and 80's and we were in the pool (of course, we are from Vermont)...
