Presidents Day

Can anyone tell me how busy US and IOA are over the Presidents day weekend?
We fly in from Scotland on the 14th and leave on the 21st.
Is it as busy as it is at WDW during this period?

Mo, we'll be there that week too. There is a thread on "Theme Park Strategies..." about Presidents' Week. It looks like vacation that week is a Northeastern US thing (Central NY, Mass., CT). Although most of the country has that Monday off. Also, it sounds like most of the UK has that week off.

We are arriving on the Weds. before Presidents' Day. We'll definitely hit the parks on that Thurs and Fri before the weekend crowds start up. I'd like to visit Universal on either Sunday, Monday or Tuesday. Does anyone know if one is better than the others?

I think Sunday is supposed to be the least crowded. We were there for President's Week in 2000 and it was quite crowded, but only because we're used to going in the off-season and I didn't realize when I booked the trip that some schools in the Northeast have off for the entire week. That said, though, it was still very manageable and we were able to ride everything we wanted and to see all of the shows that we wanted. Have fun!

President's Day week is one of the busiest weeks of the year for Florida's vacation areas. Personally, I'd avoid it if at all possible.

We're arriving Tuesday night the week before president's day (talked the wife into taking the kids out of school for 3 days!)

On Saturday, when the crowds start to get there, we're leaving on the disney cruise.
Hopefully that half of the week before president's daya will be nice and slow!
