We're thinking of a trip in Feb. How crowded is it for president's weekend?

Thanks

Very.

Not "Christmas crowded" or "July 4 crowded," but you'll have plenty of company!

We have gone on Presidents weekend before, and if I am not mistaken it coinsides with Daytona 500. Notice we are going in late January..... :moped:

We always go that week as my dd has off from school. It is very crowded, but by February I love to go to the florida sunshine.

I've gone the last three years.
We arrive on Monday or Tuesday. Once you get to Tuesday, the crowds go down quite a bit.
But unless you are working around a school vacation (our reason) why not go a week or so earlier? It is still value season and much les crowded.

I would love to go earlier but we've already taken dd out of school 7 days this year for trips to disney. Plus, we have friends from up north wanting to go that weekend. I'm not sure we'll do it. Passholder rates end on the 14th and we weren't looking to check in until the 16th. 3 nights at POFQ starting the 16th costs just under $700 (which is what we paid for 3 nights at CR in Nov). However, if we check in on the 14th and stay 5 nights, POFQ would only cost just over $500. Unless a discount comes out for the weekend, I don't know that we'll go since I'm used to getting either Fl. resident rates or passholder rates. We might look at later in the spring. I just hate to miss any chance to go to disney.

We were there the Saturday and Sunday of that weekend this past February. The MK was awfully full on Saturday (don't even try to walk through Fantasyland) and Epcot wasn't much better on Sunday. (The weekdays prior to the weekend were great!)

Reminded me very much of a July crowd.

It's looking more likely that we won't go that weekend, unless a discount rate comes out. Then we'll go and plan on doing parks first thing in the morning and then relax at the pool in the afternoon, then go back in the park for fireworks and dinner at night. We would just have to make sure we're ready to do more relaxing at the resort rather than spending all day in the park. We still have to check with our friends and make sure they're coming. If not, we'll probably change to late April/early May and just have to take dd out of school again.
