:surfweb: I am starting a book for dd12 for figure skating, she's getting quite a few autograph's from skaters that come to our rink and I was wondering they are just on notebook paper should I spray them with something first and what would that be?????? can you also do this with newspaper articles? thanks so much !!! :wave2:

I always use Archival Mist. I'd like to hear what others use, something maybe less expensive.

:listen: :thumbsup2 thanks for your reply !! I was at Hobby Lobby and saw a spray in a small can but don't think it was called exactly what your referring to. I just wanted to be sure before I start spraying stuff, :confused3 maybe some one else?????

I was told by a helpful lady at my lss that when in doubt, you should color copy the item onto card stock. I tried this with newspaper pictures and articles, and ticket stubs and playbills. It looks just like the original and after several years no yellowing or darkening. I put the originals away, some place dark and use the "fakes" in my scrapbooks. I was told to be sure to color copy--even newspaper--because that ink is more stable.
