Presentation Timing

We land on a Tuesday (3:00ish) and are not planning to hit the parks that day, but I was thinking about going to DDD. Is it possible to do the presentation/tour later in the day? If so, how long will it really take? I don't want to keep the kids up/out late since we will be hitting the parks first thing the next day.

Also, I'm mainly interested in BLT but I heard they aren't actually giving tours there anymore. Is that accurate?

I think they take their last tour around 5-6pm. We just got back from Disney where we joined the DVC on Wednesday 7/27. We did take a tour of BLT while we were there. They DO NOT process any paperwork at BLT, you do have to go over to the SSR for that, but you can take a tour of the property. The presentation took about 2-2 1/2hrs... But we asked a lot of questions! I would just call like on Monday and set up an appointment. Ask for Johnathon Grier he was great! Hope this helps!

Our tour took only about an hour, but we already owned at other timeshares and pretty much had targeted questions only. On the Plus side they gave us a few fast passes that were good on any ride that day, so we really didn't lose any time on the rides that day.

The last tour they take is at 5:00. You should expect to spend 60-90 minutes there, but they will return that time to you and your family with immediate fastpasses good for 3 attractions. There is no model for BLT at the Preview Center any longer, however you could go over to BLT later in your stay and they can show you a 2 bedroom villa there. Stop by any of the DVC kiosks and they can get you over to the Preview Center as quickly as 10 minutes as long as they have a guide available.
