Prepark opening breakfast at BOG

we are at our 180 day today. I called right at opening and the soonest I could get an ADR for ANY day of my trip was 9:00am yet it say's they take reservation starting at 8:00am I find it hard to believe that all the 8:00am to 9:00 am reservations are taken especially when I could get a 8:00 am ADR for Cinderella's Castle and Crystal Palace. Could there be a gitch in the system? I even tried just booking for two and had the same options 9:00 to 9:05 being the soonest available

Highly possible. Especially considering unless you are staying 10 days and that is the final day of your trip everyone else has already had access to them.

Given that there is (still) no minimum amount to order, many people are grabbing up the ADRs to get coffee and a cupcake and then go to wait for the Seven Dwarves thing.

Anyone recently booked BOG for earlier than 9:05? I can book pretty much any time from 9:05 on through out the day and night for all days of our trip but not before 9:05 still strange to me.

Yep!! That is all I see as well!!

Did you go online right away at 6 eastern? Phones open at 7 eastern. You can book online an hour before phones open. If you waited to call, you missed an entire hour of booking time while other people whose window opened today were booking.

If so, not unusual for all PPO to be gone, between the people who arrive earlier than you and could already book that day and not checking until the phones opened.

That said, I goofed up on the timing yesterday and logged on an hour late to make my ADRs. We arrive on 5/12. I did notice an 8:10 am available on one of the days later in my trip but that was it. So, safe to say they probably were all booked by the time you called.

So strange. I have an 8:00 ADR for the end of March that I only booked a week or 2 ago, well past my 180 day window. I actually had a couple of days to choose from.

I got an 8:05 on a 9am opening day well within my 180 days...but I was only looking for 1 person. (And FWIW, I plan to actually eat breakfast - not a cupcake (even if I could, but can't since it's not gluten-free) - and don't care about that "roller coaster".)

how long after your 180 day did you modify it?

Within three days, I was able to modify it.

The only way we've had consistent success with getting PPO BoG was when we went something like Wednesday to Wednesday or Thursday to Thursday and booked BoG for the end of the trip early in the next week. That way we're getting to reserve the next week before everyone coming in on a Friday or over the weekend have their 180+10s open up.

We're doing Thursday to Thursday in May and got an 8AM on the only Tuesday of our trip.

See I'm thinking about doing the PPO BOG, mostly because we've done Lunch (Meh), we're on the Dining plan (and we have mostly dinners planned), and we're a literal walk away from the park. It isn't terribly hard to get, is it? Personally I've never wanted to do a PPO since I've stayed at resorts a considerable distance away from MK. Now its an option-

You called @ 7 AM ET? As mentioned earlier, online reservations start at 6 AM, so it could be those PPOs were snatched up by the people calling and those with earlier reservations than you
