Premium vouchers accepted at Rainforest for dinner??

I am not sure about this DOES THE RAINFOREST CAFE ACCEPT THE PREMIUM VOUCHERS FOR DINNER TOO?

I KNOW ITS THE SAME MENU FOR LUNCH AND FOR DINNER, I HAVE PS SEATING FOR RAINFOREST FOR DINNER AND THOSE VOUCHERS WOULD BE A SAVINGS, I COULD ORDER THE LOBSTER AND THE VOLCANO DESSERT!!

I think you have to go during lunch hours....we went at 4:00. You can't get the Volcano with one voucher...you need to use two.

Vkl accepted at RFC at Animal Kingdom location at dinner. Server gave advice on how to get the best out of our vouchers but it did take 2 vouchers for the appetizer combo or volcano. We left him a tip in addition to what is included on vouchers and he came back to thank us.

We went in the first week of August, used one VKL voucher - the server noted this as "your using a wish, no problem"

We ordered crab appetizer, Stuffed lobster (server noted they can provide a "surf and turf" but dh and I both wanted a lobster!) and dessert.. I've already forgotten!! We ordered the icee for dd - they brought out this HUGE icee in the souvenier cup - I couldnt believe it!!

Very satsified, we made PS for 5pm, as Rainforest has one menu, time isnt a problem for the voucher - just must use the $30 not the $11 Q&C

HELLO< Thanks for the help, really appreciated. Now, for the ^$64 dollar question- WHere do I get the premium vouchers? I know the websites for the Q & C vouchers, but how do I purchase the premium ones? I am looking to purchase vouchers for all of the parks, not just AK.

I used mine at the rainforest cafe in downtown disney. My waiter was unfamiliar but after checking with his manager - all was fine - we ate at 8pm. Combo'd 2 for the volcano. No other resturant will accept them for dinner. The QC vouchers were not met with very much hospitality and I could not order extra sides. I purchased my character breakfast features, QC vouchers and VKL vouchers all thru hotwire club.

I did not use a single PS that I had made prior to my vacation. It is difficult to know what your going to do until your there.

This was the best meal of our trip. Yes, same menu and can be used for lunch or dinner. We had one voucher and fed me, DH and my 5 yr old. We got a smoothie as a drink, shrimp cocktail as DS's meal and split a platter with DH and then Banana's Foster for dessert. It was plenty for us all and delicious. We had ribs, steak and chicken on the platter as well as a veggie and I think fries. WONDERFUL! If you have 2 vouchers, you can get the double appetizer and the double desert.

I had PS seating at Downtown Disney Rainforest cafe, and was planning to use the vouchers, but called first to be sure they took them. I spoke to two people and I think the manager was Diane? But they told me they would NOT accept the premium vouchers. I explained to her, but she was adamant about it, and said no in a sort of harsh way. Now, I have read posts that they did accept them. I didnt go eat there and waste my time after that call. ANYONE Know whether they are supposed to accept them or not?? I didnt go in person because I was not taking my chances after that phone call.
What do you think? What would you have done?

Bumping up -- good question - I am looking forward to an answer too as I have a PS at the DTD one and would love to use my vouchers there (VKL ones )

Ishy --I did read the answers and I posted because the person just above me posted that they called and were told NO they couldn't use them at the DTD location.. I will just call myself and see what they say before going over and expecting to be able to use them and then get there an not be able to .. Thanks Michelle

We have been told numerous times by RFC that they can only be used at the AK RFC. Even the AK restaurant told us that. We just eat at the AK one at the end of our day at AK. Then, we don't have to worry about dinner and can head to another park for more fun!
