Premium Room Disneyland Hotel, Summer???

We want a premium room prefer to have a Downtown Disney view..
I have read some reviews that it can be noisy though...

In August, would pool view be less noisy? I would imagine that the pool is open late so you would get noise from there as well????

We were in a premium DL hotel room this August. We were in the Bonita tower and faced the pool. Our room was at the far west end of the hall on the 7th floor.

There was some noise from the pool and people that carried up which was easily drowned out by the a/c. You can hear the music that plays, too. Downtown Disney is much louder compared to the DL hotel grounds but I don't know how much sound carries to the rooms.

Be sure to turn on the lights in your room at night for a bit before you turn in so you can see the pixie dust.
