TCD, Thank you......
We do not have kids,
We do have two small dogs and will bring a Golf Cart.
I do not think I would want to have a site that backed up to the road or a cabin.
Comfort Station, pool or Marina is not important, I think I would like to be in one of the new remodeled sites though..
OK, now we are getting somewhere.
The premium loops that are done right now are: 400, 500, 800, 1200 and 1300. I think that 600 and 1400 will be done by May (they probably will be done by the end of this month).
I think, based on the absence of poop bags, that 1200-1400 are not official dog loops.
So, that leaves 400, 500, 600 and 800.
If you think that you dogs will visit the dog park often, I would say go with 400 or 500. Those are closest to the dog park.
If being close to the dog park isn't that important, go with the 600 or 800 loop.
There are fewer sites that back right up to the road on the 800 loop. I know Auntie recommended 600, but some of those sites are right on the main campground road. Not a real big deal, but I would rather have trees behind my site than asphalt.
Since location, comfort stations and playgrounds aren't your major concerns, I suggest that you fax a request to the site assigner that simply says that you would be happy with a site on any premium pet loop, as long as it is not right next to a comfort station, and does not back up to one of the major campground roads. That would give the assigner the maximum flexibility to give you the best available site. I'll bet that would do the trick.
Have fun!
