Premium magic band choices

I just went to pick magic bands for our upcoming stay and there were only 9 premium choices available. Is this typical? I thought there would be more. Thanks!

The band availability changes constantly. And actually, I think 9 is a lot for what had been showing recently. There are some bands this week I haven’t seen before. I saw the Mickey with the castle one for the first time Wednesday. I was so worried it would disappear I didn’t even wait to ask my DH if he wanted it, I just ordered it for both of us. I was shocked when it went thru.

I was just able to order some for my grand daughters. until the last 2-3 days the total choices were 13 (including the plain ones). Last few days I have seen a total of 17 or 18.

back in December I think there were over 20 total, but people were having problems getting the orders to go through.

I ordered that band for my older DGD, the younger one wanted the Minnie polka dot one and was able to order that.

we have a split stay so I think I have the option to order another set. Only ordered for the first reservation. I would love to get the plain mint green one for myself if they offered it.

I have the lime coming for myself but would LOVE the mint. Have some rhinestones I'm gluing around it (saw a video). Bought some skins for my daughters off etsy. One is a big woody fan and the other is in a gray/white marble phase. My husband is...plain.

I gave up trying to order from the Disney World website. It was impossible to pick out unique bands for 5 people. You can find more variety on shopdisney but its going to cost more.

I really don't think it is about options selling out that this point. They are just using it to offload extra inventory for a few specialty magic bands at a time. Very disappointing when you have a big family.

When I picked out my AP MagicBand, I ended up going with a plain one, and then picking a skin from Magic Your Band to decorate it. Now I have a TTA MagicBand for my upcoming trip.

It is still there. I was just online ordering ours and it was available.

any idea how long they take to ship? Our trip is not until April. Ordered plain and premium bands last Friday. Charges were pending on my credit card for the 2 premium ones and now that is gone; card has not been charged. MDE shows "congratulations.....".

^^This!!! I too have 5 people I need bands for and, of the 8 premium bands available, 4 of them are for young girls. Not helpful when you don’t have a young girl. Ugh!!!

When we ordered our premium bands last summer ours arrived within a couple weeks. The order is processed as soon as you hit purchase.

I would love to get the plain mint green one

We’re going to be activating AP’s in April, but we don’t have a resort stay so I haven’t been able to browse the periodic selections. I know the designs change a lot, but are the upgraded colors like mint and lavender ever available? Or just the standard colors and upgrade designed ones only?

Nope, the premium solid colours haven't ever shown up (I've been checking since the programme started, as we had a resport stay last December and another one for this December) :-/

probably a waste of time for me to keep checking but we have a split stay and it seems there is no way to decline the 2nd set so was looking for those new solid colors.
