Premium Economy on new Airbuses.

Does anyone know any details on Premium economy on the new airbus with Virgin.
We have just booked and would love to know any info or see any pictures.

Don't think they have recieved the planes yet so no pics around, I have asked a couple of times and no-one has any. We don't go til August so hope there are some pics before we go.

Wayne do you know when they start the new planes from manchester and will it be both outbound and in The reason I ask is CO have booked our seats and it is the 747 going out and the airbus coming back. Do you think this is likely to change? This is from manchester by the way

They are supposed to start early April I think but people flying April are now saying they have been changed to the 747's so not sure.
You are doing same as us then, we fly out on 747 then come home on A330, it was the cheapest option as they are the later flights and less popular.
Hopefully once we get into April they will be running as they planned and then more info on whats inside.

They were in Zurich for cabin teccie fitting from what I picked up on V-Flyer early this month and the first complete delivery was in the last couple of days. I also read that some people were saying they were now flying from Gatwick in April and they were on the 744's so the A333 must be delayed BUT I think the reply was it is only Manchester from April and Gatwick from May.

We're flying from manchester on the 4th and our seat plan is still showing the A330 - does that suggest it hasn't changed?

I am trying to work out if the Airbuses are a good thing or not. We are flying August in PE, first time for me and kids so quite excited about the prospect. Was thinking the kids would enjoy the bubble but wondering if the airbuses have them.

Have just checked out the seating plan for the A330 and it is not good for me as the seats are 2 + 3 + 2. I am travelling with three kids and would prefer the 2 + 2 of the 747.

Hi - Not sure if it helps, but I just flew Virgin Airbus to Cape Town in Upper on business, but walked through premium & it was not much better than economy. Leather seats, bit more leg room. TV system just the same.
Actually surprised me how small PE was compared to PE on Manc - OIA planes.
Hope its better on the newly fitted planes.

It will be a totally different configuration on the Orlando route as there is no Upper, only PE & economy.
