I'm considering doing the Premium Dining Plan for our upcoming vacation. Has anyone done this? Was it worth it? Any thoughts? Also, I know that on the Platinum Dining Plan Signature Restaurants are only one credit not two. Is this the same for the Premium as well? Thanks!

It is not a dining plan - it is an all-inclusive package plan, an entirely different program from the Disney Dining Plans. It includes much more than dining. It includes all resort recreation, spa treatments and most tours and shows including La Nouba - park admission is separate though.

Yes, on the Premium plan all restaurants are one credit. I think the big difference between the premium and platinum package plans are that platinum includes Victoria & Albert's. The package plans also include some restaurants that don't accept the Disney Dining Plans (like Fulton's, Rainforest Cafe and T-Rex Cafe)

I was looking into doing the platinum and premium Dinning Plan, but I ran the numbers and we would have to do so many things outside of the park that it just wasn't doable. Even if you had a couple of days not in the park you still couldn't call them down days you would be so busy trying to get your money's worth that you wouldn't get any rest. I'm going to pay OOP for any of the extras we might do like a fireworks cruise, or Richard Petty Driving Experience. It would save a ton of money for us doing the DxDP instead of the Platinum or premium.

I agree with this. We actually just bought DVC this weekend so we can'd do the premium plan anymore anyways! I think we will pay OOP for the Keys to the Kingdom Tour and the fishing excursion and just do the Deluxe Dining Plan. Thanks for your help!:goodvibes

You could look into doing you're first night as a cash reservation, getting you're tickets for the entire stay and adding the platinum or premium plan. The plan doesn't expire until midnight on check out day. That way you could do the fishing, the keys to the kingdom and you could add in more extras. Dinner at Fulton's is included, cirque du soleil...
