Premium AP Renewal Discount

Has anyone renewed a Premium AP since the price increase in February?
Is it still a $60 discount when renewing, or is it more/less now?

I renewed mine a few weeks ago and it was a $60 discount. Some lucky person on the DIS got a coupon for 20% off their renewal though, and made us all jealous!

Whoa! 20% off would be SWEET!
I wonder how you get that? Hubby and I are both Premium AP holders...going on year 3 soon...and we go quite often. Maybe we'll get lucky and be offered the same deal.

Even though I renewed my pass a couple of weeks ago, I just got a renewal letter in the mail today. It says, among other things "Plus, you'll receive a coupon good for 20% off your next purchase of $50 or more of select merchandise at the Disneyland Resort." I have a Premium AP and already get 20% off merchandise, so no extra benefit there.

No other mention of 20% off anywhere. Just $60 off the Premium Passport.

I hope if anyone else gets that 20% off their AP renewal they can post on here and let us know exactly what the offer said. I'm curious to know why that deep of a discount would be offered to some AP holders and not others.

It's probably some convoluted computer analysis to see who might be less likely to renew. I bet I won't get an offer like that since I've held an AP for many years...they can probably see they've got a good hook in me

Or maybe they send it to some of those that sign up for the AP anniversary party. In that case, I'm golden

Oh guess that would be possible, like someone who got it as a gift voucher or maybe someone who hasn't visited the park much....

The person that said they got 20% off their AP renewal also said they go a minimum of once a month. Lucky, lucky person.

Wow! 20% I wished I would get that... Then I may consider renewing again this year... But I'm looking at canceling
