Premier vs. Preferred??

Cool! Thanks. Yes it is the power pass we are looking at. We always stay at HRH so no worries about parking cuz we walk to the park. Ok here are some of my questions. With this power pass do you get discounts on merch in the parks? Will it go for one full year of purchase or will the clock start on the first day of use? If it starts when purchased can it be purchased at the parks on our first day there? I also saw on another board that if you are an AP holder you get discounts on other single and multi day passes would this apply with the power pass? Ok I know I have more questions I will think for a sec.

Ok I thought of another question. If I buy this power pass we would come back in October and try HP and HHN. I know that it is an additional ticket to go to HHN but would we get any kind of discount on that? Do you need a park pass plus a HHN pass to get in to HHN? If so will my power pass work for that?

The only AP's that offer any kind of worthy discounts are the Preferred and Premier. The Power Pass doesn't offer any park discounts on food or merchandise. If you want a passholder discount off single day park tickets, you would need to get either the Preferred or Premier but you would be able to get a 10% discount off of multiple days tickets with the Power Pass. Your year would start from the first day it's activated...not purchased.

You would not get any discounts on HHN tickets and you would not be able to come to the passholder parties during the first two weekends. Your Power Pass would let you in the park before closing to take advantage of Stay & Scream but you would still need a HHN ticket in order to stay.

You can generally get very good discounts on all 3 on site hotels with either a preferred or premium AP. You won't get any discount with the power pass, that alone will almost definitely make up any initial difference in price for at least one.
