Premier pass and valt parking

Does anyone knoe if you can still do the "trick" where you valet park on the day you pick up your new premier pass, then pay the valet st the end of the day so getting the discount the pass affords?

I don't remember if you have to show your AP when you leave the car...I don't think you do...so there is nothing wrong with doing that.
