I've been watching the prices of the hotels near Manchester airport and the Premier Inn ws at £75 a few months ago.

It came down to £45 last week and didn't get round to booking it until tonight and it's down again to £34!!!

I think I have a bargain as i had looked at the nearest Travelodge and that had gone up from £29 to £50! So i am happy with that as we were looking at hotels further out but for that price I can't grumble. Plus DH is not a fan of staying the night before and refuses to pay too much so he should be happy too! Me on the other hand panick if we go the morning of our flight in case there's any delays on the roads (were 3 hours from Man).

Not sure if it's any good here but for a few hours sleep it will do.

Just thought I would share. Only 137 days to go!

We have stayed in many Premier Inns and never been in a bad one. We haven't ever stayed at that particular one, but I think it is an excellent price and they are always clean and comfortable. We always look to see if there is one if ever we are going to stay the weekend somewhere.

We stayed there before our flight in May. It was fine, I think the rooms were a little bigger than I was used to for premier inn as we had two double beds. We didn't eat there, preferring to stop at the Trafford Centre for a meal on the way which is only about 20 minutes away. We also picked up some mini prosecco bottles from M&S to celebrate the start of our holidays! There is a parking charge of £5 if you didn't already know, but we paid the same as you and I prefer it too much less stress!

Good idea to stop off and eat. We were just going to eat in the restaurant. Might have a look at somewhere to stop as we've got all day to get there as we're going down on a Sunday. Thanks. X

Which one have you booked?

I can never remember which way around North and South are, but one is generally nicer then the other.

I've booked the South. Not sure what the difference is apart from the price or if you have to drive a different way to get to each one!?!

They are opposite each other! Same access road, just different car parks

Stayed in both Premier Inns before travelling to Florida. Both times were great. Much less stressful than worrying about traffic on the day.
