We are traveling to Orlando Dec 21-Jan 2nd and thinking about doing the 2 park premier AP as we are also going to Disney in June 2019 for Dance the World. The 6 months free in enticing us as we could go back for Spring break 2020. I was going to buy straight from universal but is it better to buy tickets from UT and upgrade? I was looking at the 4 day plus 1 day free park to park ticket for 307.95 originally. Would I compare the cost of this on the Universal site to a 4 or 5 day ticket? Will I get the 6 additional months for upgrading in the park? Thanks for your help as we are universal newbies. I haven't been in 10 years

I would save myself some possible aggravation and just buy straight from universal. In fact, that is what I did.

Any savings will be minimal if there are any at all.

I agree with everyone else. I buy direct from Universal. I have the Premier pass and I love it.
