Premier Annual Pass (WDW and DL)

For those of us from the West Coast and have had the pass what is the minimum days you would go to Florida for?
I have a WDW AP. This year we went to WDW for 10 days in Dec, and another trip planned for Aug, for 14 days.
So minimum WDW trip for us is 10 days. We live on west coast too.

We also had a 5 day DL trip in Sept, and one coming up at the end of the month, another 5 days in DL.
Maybe this year it would have paid to have the Primere AP. I don’t know. We did get the Canadian ticket discount for both DL trips. 25% off tix.

At WDW its not the number of days that matter, its the number of trips. A 4 day pass costs slightly less than a 8 day pass. Longer trips are the way to go. After 4 days its like $10 a day

I've gone 14 nights both times. However, I only got it the first time when the price was about $750-800 per person for the premier. The second time at WDW, we did the 10-day pass because we had resort days for the first few days of our trip, then outlet shopping. LOL.

But when we go again to WDW, we will be going for 15 nights and spending at least 13 days at the parks so we will be getting the premier AP so we can go to DLR too.

Thats crazy to learn that the price doubled. If it was $800 it would be a no brainer.

I know! But since we haven't had DLR passes in about 3-4 years, we decided not to get Premiere APs yet. We are waiting for all the changes to WDW (Toy Story Land, Star Wars Land, GoTG roller coaster, etc.) to be done and out for a couple of years before we go again. And then, we can get it since it'll be a few more years since we've had DLR passes.

Back when we got it was in 2012.

You must have gotten it right before the cars land price hikes on APs.

It only works if you do the math and make sure it works! It worked for us for 2 years because one of our kids was living in Orlando. We had a few trips planned to WDW, plus our usual trips to Disneyland. Once he moved, it didn't make sense anymore.
