I know you guys are no subsitute for a doctor but I'm trying to convince DH to have another baby. One of his concerns is my medications. I'm currently on seroquel, lamectal, prozac, zyrtec, adivan and ambien. Obviously I wouldn't be able to continue taking the adivan and ambien but I'm not sure about the others. I don't have an appointment with my psych until the 28th and my gyn until the 2nd so I wanted to see if anyone had any experiencec with any of the medications. TIA

Before you do anything, make sure you talk to both doctors and your Primary Care Physician and make sure all of them know exactly what you are taking, including dosage, and how often.

Because of multiple problems, I carry around a card (printed the same on both sides) that gives my name and the name and phone number of my primary care physician. I then have (in alphabetic order) every medicine I take regularly, whether it is prescription or non-prescription. The list gives brand and generic names, dosage, and how often I take it.

That way whenever I go to any doctor's office (or in case of an emergency) I have a complete list of all medications that I take.

I also have this in my phone in the memo section of my ICE (in case of emergency) contact information.

Good luck.
