Pregnant during Disney trip, questions and tips?

So, Not DL, but I did go to WDW while pregnant a lot. I went on pretty much everything within reason. After the 1st trimester I avoided coasters, ToT, Dinosaur (same ride system as Indy), and Test Track. I rode pretty much everything else - including RotR and Splash Mountain. I'm sure there's plenty who would be horrified at what I chose to ride, but It's all up to your own comfort level and how you're feeling that day.
Even not pregnant, I gave up Indy after about 30. It gave me a massive headache that would last 2-3 days after the ride. Told me it wasn't for me.

I did try it again in 2012 (53yo) only to remember why I quit riding it. My back and neck took a week to forgive me.

Wow yeah! If I had a ride that did that to me, I would decide it's time to part with it. I don't do Matterhorn I think for that reason.

So even with Christmas crowds, will our experience still be pleasant and all?

Yep, I can't ride Matterhorn either. My daughter wouldn't even let me try again after the refurb.

As for crowds, as I tell most people, your trip will be what you make it. It will be crowded. You will have Genie to help. We enjoy the family time, food, Viva Navidad!, and whatever rides we decide to make it on. Been doing this 25+ years from Christmas to NY.

So I just rode Indy today for the first time since the parks closed for COViD (I’ve been to DLR many times since but was pregnant or had the luck of it being down when it was my turn to go). I wouldn’t go on it while pregnant. It’s definitely way worse than a rode with potholes or driving with a terrible driver. Lots of starts and stops, jerking from side to side but to an extreme (like the equivalent to two wheels being off the ground). I would go on Rise, though. It isn’t any worse than RSR which I went on while 8 months pregnant.

Thanks you for your honest input! Still a couple months away from the trip and some belly growing to do so I'm sure my mommy instinct will let me know if I should go on Indy or not. Although your comment has now veered me towards a no! Thank you for input on RSR, I wasn't sure if it was as smooth as I remembered it and wanted opinions. Rise I have also been told is okayish. We'll probably do Rise once during the trip as it's a little costly for the ILL.

Does anyone recommend getting a LL for DCA while youre in DL before hopping hour? I understand you'd have to wait 2 hours before being able to select any other LL in either park if you do that since the return time wont be until after 1pm

At least in my experience, it hasn't let me reserve a LL for the park that I'm not in, even after hopping time. I get a message that I need to be scanned in to the appropriate park before I could make a LL.

Wow really? I'll be sure to ask a CM then what's the deal with that

Hi all!
Posting in my old thread to thank you for the great advice I got on here and on other posts by other people.

We had a great vacation to Disneyland at 26 weeks pregnant! We rented the wheelchair and got genie+ and did so many rides except the roller coasters! Rise of the resistance was incredible!
We are going back for one day at 34 weeks and plan to just do 1 day at one park with wheelchair and no genie+ since I'll be able to do less and our goal is to soak it all in before baby 2 arrives🥰.

It was all truly magical.
I did end up going on splash mountain and it wasnt bumpier than any of the plane rides I took to even get to the atate of California and I'm so happy I did before it gets refurbished.
Baby is healthy and I'm growing very rapidly.
