Just when DH and I had kind of assumed the mantle of "It will happen when it happens", it happened. I have seen two pink lines on three home pregnancy tests (this means I'm pregnant for those of you who have never had the pleasure of urinating on a little white stick). Btw, we haven't told anyone yet! I'm just sharing this with a community of over 55,000 people...
Anyway, I'm going to Disney next week. At the most, I'm three weeks along. I'm going to be calling my doctor's office on Tuesday and begging for an appointment before my trip to confirm what the three white sticks have shown me. How will this impact my trip? Have any of you DIS ladies been in this situation. If so, how did you handle this? Did you stay off ToT and RnR?
Please help! Your advice and wisdom would be appreciated!

Remember, we haven't told anyone yet! :teeth:

FIRST-Congratulations!!

SECOND- when I was in my early pregnancy I couldn't even think of going on any rides with my "semi" morning sickness.

MOST IMPORTANT for you is to DRINK A LOT OF WATER!! It is very hot right now and that should be you're number 1 most important thing!

It shouldn't impact your trip except that you should not push your self too much especially in the heat. The "queazy" hormone may not even have kicked in yet or you might be lucky enough not to get that "fun" part of the pregnancy.

Otherwise you can probably just do what you're comfortable with.

HAVE A GREAT TRIP!!

Congratulations! All the rides at Disney have restrictions listed for them, including for if you are pregnant. There are some threads on the boards on this subject also that I have seen. It shouldn't affect your trip too much, I went when I was 4 months along and there were only a few rides I couldn't go on. One thing you should be careful of is not getting overheated. Drink lots of water and rest in shady areas as often as you can. The bugs are supposedly bad there right now but I wouldn't put any bug spray with DEET (like OFF!) in it on you. Have a great time!

Congratulations!

Since you are in the very first part of the first trimester, you might or might not feel nauseated, but I'll bet you will feel really tired.
Just take it easy and rest extra while you are there. I was pregnant twice (once I was in the 3rd month and once I was in the 5th month) at WDW and there are very few rides that I didn't go on. Get rest, drink lots of water, and take a mister fan to help keep yourself cool. Ask your doctor what rides s/he thinks you shouldn't go on. Most important, have LOTS of fun!
