My husband and I are planning a short trip to orlando in September. I want to go back to WDW, but he really doesn't want to go back there (again!).
We went to Universal once 3 years ago. I know it has been a while, so a lot may have changed. Honestly, I wasn't that impressed. Yes, the big ticket rides were very good, (mummy, dueling dragons, shreck) but I found it to be dirty and the hordes of obnoxious, barely dressed teenagers smoking everywhere were a real turn off.
But I am willing to give it another try- and I am definately going to make a trip when the finish the Harry Potter attractions next year. The thing is, I will be 7 or 8 months pregnant when we go to Orlando this fall, and I'm not sure if I will be able to go on any of the rides. I don't know if it's just my memory because we only went on the big roller coasters, or if that really is all you can do there. I also know that sometimes a ride might seem like it is ok for expectant mothers, but you get there and they have an advisory against it, (shreck may be this way: it's jsut a movie, but all of the bouncing in the seats is probably not okay). ANyway, has anyone ever gone to these parks while pregnant? Does anyone know where I can get accuarte information about the attractions that are safe for expectant moms? THanks for the help- if we don't go to Universal we will probably end up at Sea World, which seems like it will be more fun after my kid is 2 or 3).
