Are there any rides that are okay to go on at Universal and IOA while pregnant? I'm thinking if there aren't a lot if options maybe I'll have a pool day instead of going to the parks.
TIA!

I visited Universal when I was 14 weeks pregnant and noticed that nearly every attraction says not for expectant mothers (even walking attractions such as Twister). Luckily, I'm pretty familiar with the attractions so I was able to make my own decisions about what I should/should not do. If you're not familiar with the attractions, then you'll probably feel like you shouldn't do anything based on their signs.

I came over to Florida at 31 weeks pregnant. I got on fine at Disney but universal was a different story all together! wwohp, forget it! all rides are off limits, we were there opening week so the shops were a 2 hour queue to get in so I didn't see those either! no water rides at all, no coasters, no simulators. the person on et wouldn't let me ride even when I knew I could. I'm struggling to think what I DID ride.... I did one fish, two fish. the carousel and the cars in the sky ride thing. I did a non moving seat on shrek but the view was blurry so I spent my time watching others! my baby hated terminator, I think the sound track was too loud. I honestly can't remember riding anything else in the two parks. no jaws, Simpson's, mummy, nothing! I had a great time on the water cannons spraying the riders on ripsaw falls and Popeye, I was chief photo taker too! I think I'm owed a child free trip to universal to make up for it!

Thanks for the replies. I'm thinking this trip is going to be a bust for me!!

What about Men in black or the Popeye water ride? I can't remember if Popeye has a drop.

I would think no to both.... Esp Bluto's Barges... Bouncing around on the water...

It sucks if you're pregnant. I went at 2 months and again when I was about 9. You can't even go on the ET ride. I don't think there are any pregnancy friendly rides.

I was only 2 months pregnant back in 7/2011 and only did tour of Hogwarts, Olivanders, ate at 3 broomsticks, took lots of pics then watch horror show. We left by 3pm :-)

Disney and Seaworld still have plenty of things for pregnant women to do. Universal doesn't really have anything, except for a couple of shows.

We bought our annual passes right before we found out I was pregnant, or else I wouldn't have bothered to go. But it will be nice to take the baby there in a few weeks.
