Pregnancy Announcement Ideas at WDW

Hello all! I'll be in my second trimester when we visit WDW in mid-December and we wanted to figure out a way to announce it and incorporate our love for WDW. Do any of you have any ideas? At this point I want to figure out a way - just stumped on a creative way to do it.

If it's your first baby you could just pose for a picture in front of the castle with your husband's hand on your belly. And use a picture editor to add, "Our dream came true!! Baby ____ will be arriving on due date"

Or you could get a set of family mouse ears monogrammed. "mommy" "daddy" "baby whatever". You could even just do "mommy" and "daddy" and have a picture taken of y'all from behind and post that on Facebook and see how long it takes until someone reads what the ears actually say!

It will be our first (after years of trying). I like those ideas - especially the one w/ the ears and a pic taken from behind. That's clever!

It would actually be to friends and long-distance family. I'll just be starting the second trimester, and **shouldn't** be showing a TON. Finger's crossed, though! We're waiting to announce due to previous infertility and heartbreak. So keeping this little nugget close to the vest for a while.

I just wanted to share that I didn't really start showing until part way through my second trimester, so it might be quite possible to keep it a secret from most until then!

I also love the mommy and daddy mouse ears suggestion! Please share whatever you wind up using for a photo! So exciting!

I think you should get mouse ears embroidered: Yours to say Mommy, your husband's to say Daddy, and then get a child's pair that says Baby. You can each wear yours and have your photo taken in front of the castle from behind (since the names are embroidered on the back I think) while each extending one arm behind you to hold the ears that say Baby.

Or...there's probably some tshirt you can wear on Etsy or somewhere that has something to do with pregnancy...like strategically placed mouse ears printed on it or something. Maybe look on Etsy for ideas.

Not an announcement idea...but it could be. We did it for gender announcement.

I posed with both the blue and pink "year" (ie the labeled 2015 stuff) onsies.

I modeled with both across by belly and then with each color separately and sent the correct color pic to my close friends to announce gender (after I sent the one with both colors and made them guess)

We didn't find out on first kid so it was fun and not too over the top

When we did our last announcement we had our kids inside the picture frame with my wife holding it over her belly and captioned it with "Love seeing the family grow ‪#‎my3kids‬"

They have those "baby" stuffed animals/princesses...you could get one of those (gender neutral if you need to) and then a set of mouse ears with your due date monogrammed on the hat. Put the hat on one of the "baby" stuffed animals for the photo. You have two wonderful keepsakes for baby then. Congratulations!!!! I have three wonderful children, but struggled with my last suffering 5 miscarriages in total.
