For the money the Power Pass seems like a no-brainer for more than 2 days in the park. My question is, can I get hotel discounts with the Power Pass or do I need the Preffered Annual Pass?

Make sure the Power Pass doesn't have any blackout dates that would affect your stay. Pref. AP is good every day. There was a family last year that drove "halfway across the country" only to realize their pass (may have been a reg. AP) wasn't good for the weekends at beginning and end of their vacation.

You are not eligible for any discounts with the Power Pass. Depending on how many people are in your party, it may be worth it for one person to get the preferred for the discounts.

I already checked the blackout dates so I'm okay there.

Getting one pref. pass might be worth it for the hotel discount...thanks
for the insight!!

There are 5 in our family and we have one PAP and the rest Power Passes. It is worth it for us to pay the extra for the PAP for the free parking and discounts on food.
