We have never used them, the MK location does not get good reveiws, Epcot we never have a problem seeing them.

Fireworks Viewing at Epcot is available.
Each person on the package will receive one (1) voucher redeemable for a special viewing area for IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth. Viewing location is at the Boat Landing near the Morocco Pavilion.

Fireworks Viewing at Magic Kingdom Park is available.
Each person on the package will receive one (1) voucher redeemable for a special viewing area for Wishes nighttime spectacular. Viewing location is at the Plaza Landing near the Plaza Restaurant on Main Street USA in Magic Kingdom Park.

The one for MK (which was a complete waste of time) is outside the Plaza restaurant at MK. If you could see past the trees, it would possibly be a good spot, but if it is your only chance to see Wishes ... you won't see much. IMO it serves nothing more than to provide somewhere for people to listen to Wishes :rolleyes1

Illuminations viewing spot is a nice one. It is on the Morocco boat landing. It is a fairly small space so numbers are well limited and it is worth calling and making a reservation for this spot if you plan on making use of your voucher. I am not sure if they would do 'walk ups' if you arrived with a voucher, which they may well do if there is place, but it got pretty full when we were there last year, mainly due to the restricted space.

for MK the best views we have had of wishes were from the railway staition platform at the end of main st. On one night it was even more special a young lad (only looked about 17yr) got down on one knee and proposed to his even younger looking gf. The whole time we had been waiting there family kept pushing everyone away keeping a big space free at the front- I had thought they were just being rude- How wrong, they all knew he was going to do it and wanted room so that he was at the front and they could film it. - That was I while ago -I often wonder what happened too them - they were so so young.

Another nice spot for the fireworks is the polly beach- relaxing changw of pace and you get to see it in duplicite as the do a second set over the island infront of the polly, you also get the music etc at the beach.

We used the MK area last August and found the view limited by the trees. However, since then, I believe that they have been cut down or removed to give amuch better view. That said, it was quite good having seating available plus not having to spend 30 minutes or so trying to keep hold of a decent viewing spot on the pavement, only to find someone pushing in front of you at the last minute!!

Not used the EPCOT area, but we tend to watch from around the bridge between UK and France, or down at the lagoon edge in front of France/Morocco.

Just to note that when we tried to book our spot at MK when we were in Orlando, we were told we had to book this with Disney UK, although we were givn a freephone US number to contact them by. You may need to book a few days in advance to secure a place.

Thanks for the tip,I´ll make sure to call and reserve our spot.

Conny, if you call the usual Disney UK number and press option 4, you will be put through to the CM's who handle the fireworks bookings. You can do that any time from 180 days out.

What I do recommend for Epcot is that you try not to book for an evening when there are EMH. I made this mistake last year (thought I was so clever :rotfl2:) and when EMH commenced at the end of Illuminations we were on the opposite end of the park from where we wanted to be and we wasted a LOT of time getting through the crowds to the other side.

Thank you very much,I went straight to my Vacation notepad and wrote it down.
