Hi Everyone !
I know I have a lot of time to plan, but you know how obsessive planners are.
LOL !

Anyway....I will have preferred view at BWV for a one-bedroom villa. This is a solo trip, and I am a very light sleeper. Of the preferred views, which views do you consider very quiet.

Although I like a nice view, an area that is quiet is more important.

Thanks for your advice.

We have had a preferred studio and 2bdr with pool view and there was no noise if the door to balcony was closed.

An upper floor view of the quiet pool is in my opinion one of the the quietest and nicest locations.

I stayed at BWV without specifying no Luna Park view and was very very sorry.

If you don't mind walking I'd ask either for a standard view (lotsaluck) or quiet pool view as close to the elevator as possible.

I am also a very light sleeper and I have also stayed in many different locations at BWV over the years and have never had a villa that was noisy. Once the balcony doors are closed you can not hear anything. Even with the balcony doors open, any sounds from the boardwalk are nonexisit by 10-11 PM and they are not really disturbing noises but sounds of people having fun and enjoy their vacations. My favorite locations are the boardwalk view for a preferred view and a villa close to the tennis courts for a standard view, not because of any noise or lack of noise but because of the views.

Absolutely and without a doubt do not get a BW view. I have had one at each visit, and have always been awakened and annoyed by the bargoers on the BW late at night. It seems people forget that there are guests sleeping in the BW rooms above them. Also, I would ask for a room far from the elevator. Many people allow their children to run up and down the hallways on their way to and from the elevator. That drives me crazy. The further you are from the elevator, the fewer noisey people.

Ask for the top floor. I have had the fortune of staying on the quiet pool side and it was perfect, but I have also stayed above the art gallery and it was noisy. So ask for the top floor!

Thank You so much everyone for your replies. I really love the way DIS people care about each other !

I am seriously thinking about requesting:

1. NON - Smoking (that's on the ressie, anyway )
2. Top Floor
3. Overlooking quiet pool

This is a solo trip for me, and you know how noise seems amplified when you are alone.

Thanks Everyone !

We found the BW view noisy around 2am when Jelly Rolls and Atlantic Dance closed. I agree that the long corridors just beg for kids to race down. There something about seeing so far down the hall that little boys in particular have to run!
