Preferred View at BWV

If I ask for a Boardwalk view, am I guaranteed to get a Boardwalk view or could I get stuck with a pool view and still pay preferred points???

Is the Boardwalk view guaranteed?

There are three views at BWV - standard (usually the parking lot and front drive), preferred (water, pool) and Boardwalk. If you reserved a Boardwalk view, you should get a Boardwalk view - unless something happened to your room before you got there and it is out of commission. The Boardwalk view is not a request - it is specified view.

One thing its important to realize....preferred view points are the same structure you'll get looking at the quiet pool at BCV or VWL or overlooking the road or dumpter at those resorts. Preferred view rooms without the Boardwalk View aren't a "bad deal" its just that the Boardwalk View and Standard View points at BWV are a "good deal."

Boardwalk View is about 20% of the resort and tends to book early - particularly from October - Christmas (although there are often rooms available at seven months - and if you waitlist for any missing nights they often come through). Its best to own there (or if you are renting, work with an owner of that resort) or make your reservations as soon as possible once the seven month window opens.
