As I have booked direct with WDW, we had as part of the offer the option to view the fireworks in a "preferred" are.

Do we have to book this? If so, can we do it online or do we ring up to do it? Are there any benefits in doing it (i.e is it really a better position?)

Over the years most have said MK is not great, Epcot is OK.
We have had chance to use it past 3 years thru WDTC, not something I have ever done, never have a problem viewing fireworks.
Hope someone posts with their experience.

I would recommend EPCOT, you view from friendship boat landing in Morocco, it is standing room, but the view is good. When you ring Disney there is an option to book and you can book from 180 days out. MK is near the Plaza and there are some seats, but view is obscured by trees, ok for a quiet sit down while watching. They do book up, I couldn't get my preferred date for MK in August; rang this week. :surfweb:
