Yep, that's right. You don't have to be an AAA member. I just clicked on the link in weluvpluto's post and placed the order.

Can't you just show your AAA card and buy it at guest services if going by July whatever? It says "AAA exclusive" versus "AAA south locations only". Ususally AAA deals can be bought at the gate as well as long as its not AAA south specific.

We ordered ours online becuase we won't be anywhere near FL until mid-August and the deal would be over by then. For those who will be in the area, I'd definitely save the shipping charge and pick them up in person.

Has anyone from the UK tried to phone to see if we can purchase the pass. It's a great deal!

Also what happens if your don't activate by the date given, will it still be okay to use, but be back dated to the activate date by ...?

I believe they activate the pass for you in September if you have not used it by then. The pass is then good for 2 years from activation.

Ok, I see..... if I put in my local zip code, I get a main page that does not say anything about USO.

If I put the zip code 32820 in on both links, the first one goes to an "attraction & tickets" page and the second one goes directly to a "ticket details" page. Thanks, Weluvpluto!!
