Precious Moments Sept. event Questions

Hi All,

I was wondering if anyone can help me. I know the Precious Moments event is on at WDW Sept 1-3, 2006. I just found this out actually. Funny enough we have a trip planned and will be there at that time. I cannot shell out the $100 to go, furthermore we have all our days planned. On the itenary it states on the last day it is open to the public from 8-11 am. I would go to this but I wonder if there will be any left?, will there be crazy line ups (we have an adr at MK at 8:10 and would go to the event afterwards but will I be too late, what are the odds of getting the pieces I want by going on the wish list (they will send them to you immediately after the event upon availability) and lastly will these pieces become available at the Art of Disney when available. (I got last years piece mailed to me when it became available). Any information would be really appreciated.

I got the event flyer in the mail - I would LOVE to go, but living 1,000 miles away doesn't make it very practical. Some of the pieces are already on sale on e-bay, but they cost around $100. How much was the piece that you purchased through the Art of Disney? And how do you get in touch with them?

Also, an FYI, the Cinderella figurine "A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes" will be available on the Precious Moments website in September, so I wouldn't worry about picking up that piece at the event. You can also pre-order it from the PM website. Hope that helps - now maybe you can help me

Thanks for the info. I decided to pay the $100 and order the pieces I want. I am there anyway. This way I get the first 1000 stamp too. I also get a t-shirt, tote bag, pins etc. I am not going to attend the event, I just preordered the pieces I wanted and I'll pick them up. As for the piece from the Art of Disney. I believe the piece was $75. Shipping was $20 in the US. I live in Canada and shipping to Canada ws $75!!!!! Needless to say I had it mailed to a friends in the States. You may be able to get it cheaper on ebay, I think they go cheaper.

Thanks for the info - I registered my "Wish List" on the events page - they'll send me the pieces I want if they're left over. I'm crossing my fingers - have tons of fun on your trip, and I'm jealous that you'll get all the figurines you want (minus the $25 shipping!!!)

Hey Robert,

My family booked our trip to WDW ages ago, I recently found out about the event and considering I am there I registered. They have early registation and merchandise pick up so I am just going to pick up my stuff. I would lov3e to attend the event but our days are completely planned. When I registered, I preordered what I wanted. If you cannot attend you can go to the website (you can get there through the precious moments website) and get on the wish list. If there are any pieces left over they will send them to you.
