Our ticker says 10 days til DLP but it is wrong due to a change of plan after we had booked and set up the ticker.

We are setting off in 2 days :cheer2:

So a brief pre trippie.

Going:
Me - 5th time to DLP
DH - 5th time to DLP
DD (8) - 5th time to DLP
DS (21) - 1st time to DLP but has been to WDW 3 times but not for over 10 yrs

Staying at home:
DS (23) - too cool to come with Mum and Dad
DS (18) - way too cool to come with Mum and Dad
2 Guinea Pigs, 1 Rabbit, 4 Goldfish

We are setting off Monday am to drive down to Ashford. We are then staying overnight in Travel Lodge before catching a very early morning shuttle through the tunnel.
We will then drive to DLP where we are booked into DCR for 1 night. We arent intending going into the parks on the Tuesday but will probably go to Disney Village for lunch at Annettes (getting to be a bit of a tradition going on the day we arrive).
We'll then go to DCR to have a long leisurely swim and explore. Although we stayed here at Christmas we didnt really see much of the ranch as we spent most of the time in the park but did have a very quick swim and it was lovely.
We'll grab some supplies from somewhere (either the shop or Auchan) for tea - probably some bread and brie.
Then depending how tired we are we'll either head back to the Village for a wander round but will probably just stay at the ranch and chill.

The following day we will have a leisurely breakfast in the cabin before checking out and heading for the park.
We have APs and are going to buy DS a Francilien pass.
We'll spend the day in the park - no real plan , just go with the flow but will grab a meal somewhere before leaving to drive to Berny Riviere campsite where we are staying in a mobile home for 6 nights.

During this week we just intend to chill, read, eat, drink, swim and explore.

The following Tuesday we are then driving back to DLP (which is what the ticker shows) to stay at Cheyenne for 4 nights.

Again during that stay we have no real plan but will go with the flow. We will possibly book some restaurants while we are there the previous week.

We may go into Paris for a day as DS really wants to go in as its years since he went although we may go in whilst at B Riviere.

We are also considering going to Buffalo Bills as we really enjoyed it last April and will definitely eat at Walts on one occasion as its our favourite.
We are also considering Lucky Nugget and Manhatten. We are also hoping for GMF breakfasts and will definitely do EMH (ideally we would like to do EMH then have late GMF breakfast)

The packing is started (so much to take) , DS has come home from Uni today so :laundy: is underway. Theres still some shopping to do for the two who are staying at home and some housework to do then its off to :cheer2:

DLP again :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

looks like you'll have an action apcked trip ! look forward to reading about it when you come home!

oooh i love the lead up to a holiday :goodvibes

cant wait to hear your report when you get back ,have a fabby time

Lucky things - what a lovely long break you have planned. There should be no need for rushing around and getting frantic. I hope you have a fantastic time.:)

Now this can't be true! If you're leaving 2 young men alone in the house all you need to do is leave the phone number of the local pizza delivery place and forget about the housework until you get back.:rotfl:

Okay, I tried to follow your plans... but does this mean you will be there when we are after all??? :goodvibes

Have a wonderful time and look forward to a sparkling clean house when you get back!:lmao:

No unfotunately not. when you are there we are at the campsite an hour away - trying to resist the temptation to visit for yet another day:rotfl:

We need to stock up on beer and microwave meals

Have a great trip. Shame your oldest two didn't want to see the Disney Magic but at least they can house and pet sit!

I really like the DCR and Berny Riviere site. There's plenty to do at DCR and the pool is lovely. It will be lovely to chill out after a long drive. You could always stock up with provisions at the Auchan at Val D'Europe. A great idea to split Disney with Paris and a relaxing campsite break. :cool1:

Have a great time and don't forget to tell us all about your trip on your return. :thumbsup2

Oh well, if the temptation gets too much, then look out for my Pooh hat! :thumbsup2

Hope the weather improves for you especially, as you are camping.

Will definitely look out for your hat but I doubt we'll be tempted to go the park for yet another day

Fortunately we are in a mobile home as opposed to a tent to it will be a bit warmer.
there is an electric fire in there and lots of blankets and we have packed the hot water bottles, a quilt and more fleecy blankets as well as the thermals, hats, scarves, gloves, fleecy boots, (also suntan lotion and sun hat for DD - well we can hope :rotfl: )

Thank goodness for estate cars :rotfl: :rotfl:

I've just started packing too, don't laugh, I'm working all week and we need to leave around 6am on Friday... So I thought I'd get a head start! :rotfl2:

Anyway, I had hoped to take similar clothes as last Easter, but have been adding things we took at Christmas, as the whether forecast looks cold :cold:

I'm also wondering if we should take winter coats, rather than simply wear waterproof jackets over a fleece - decisions, decisions :worried:

Wow sounds like you got a action packed trip going on.

Hope you have a lovely time :)

Thank you everybody. Ive just logged on for one last quick look before we pack the car and set off.

I may have chance to log during the 2 weeks - especially whilst at the campsite but if not see you all when we get back.

And I promise you all lots of piccies, a nice long trip report and lots of (easy:rotfl: )questions collected ready for our May quiz

Have a fab time!! Looking forward to hearing all about it when you get back!!
