Hi everyone, we're going to Disney in August (11-18) and staying at Poly - I'm looking for suggestions for the trip. It's me, dh, dds (4 and 1) and my parents. We will not have a car and plan on using the Magical express. Here it goes:

Saturday
Arrive on the 11th mid afternoon flight got changed) around 3 at the hotel.
Get settled and head over to the MK - leave before the fireworks - catch a snack/dinner on the go

Sunday
AK for opening at 9
Chef Mickey's for 5:30

Monday
CRT for 8:30 ressies and then on to Epcot

Tuesday
MK 8am opening
Divequest in Epcot at 4:30

Wednesday
MGM
H&V 1pm ressies
P&PP that night - not sure when it starts?

Thursday
Waterpark - not sure about which one...
Maybe MK or Epcot at night

Friday
Ohana for 8am ressies
DD
MK at night

I'd appreciate any feedback...too much, not enough? Thank you.

Hi! My family and I will be at Pop Century August 10th - 18th to celebrate my DSS's 21st birthday. It's been years since I was at Disney in August...in fact now that I think about it, my DD was 3 at the time, and she will be 22 in June, where the heck does the time go? Anyway, you plan looks great to me. :thumbsup2 The advice I would offer is keep in mind the heat can make anyone cranky, so plan some mid afternoon breaks back at the hotel. Whether you take a swim break,a power nap, or simply relaxing in your room...it will help, recharge you body! Spray fans or the small battery operated fans are also a good idea to help you beat the heat. Keep an eye out at your local Walmart or Kmart, they should have some for around $8-$10, which really beats the $16 you will pay in the park. If you are using a Disney Stroller, bring something along to easily identify it, like a red bandana you can tie to the handle. When you come out of rides, it will be easier for you to find it in the sea of strollers that will be parked outside...and will also with luck prevent someone from taking off with it.

Hope that helps you!

We are headed in August, a few days after you with our two dd 1 year old and will turn 4 while we are there. I just bought fans... cheap clip on bag handheld fans at Walmart today. I decided against the spray ones, I was afraid they would become a hassle. I think they were two dollars, right up at the checkout they were getting them out- funny since it is snowing here in OH.

Our first meal is Chef Mickey's too, but on Tuesday night!

Great first night place!

I just booked an earlier flight, WOOHOO. I am so excited, I just hope they don't change again :). Are you going to P&PP. I just decided today although I'm not sure the youngest will be up for it.

At first we were a NO- but now I am thinking about taking the older daughter and just the two of us going on the 18th... how bout you?

DH, DD and I are going on the 15th. Since we are all children at heart and love the Pirates movies we decided to join in the fun!
