We're pretty much all set for our trip next week, there's 4 of us, me, Johnny_boy AKA John, daddy, etc. DW AKA Clare, mummy, DD AKA Amélie (a Scooby Doo fan) and DS AKA Johannes, Jo-Jo, Jo-boy (a Peppa Pig fan).
Amélie is looking forward to seeing the dragon under the castle, Johannes is looking forward to the fast train (TGV), Clare is looking forward to not cooking for 4 days or so
We're staying at the Cheyenne, we had originally booked for the Santa Fe then the 40% offers came out and I tried rebooking - same price but for £38.80 less book the Cheyenne! I called them twice but they wanted £80 cancellation fee so it would have cost me £40 more - I said I'd considered it and emailed them as well...Three days later an email upgrading us to the Cheyenne but with a catch - use the savings to purchase something else or pay an extra £13. They suggested a character breakfast for an extra £17 so we opted for that!! Mickey obviously loves a trier!
Johannes turns 3 while we're there so we're doing the character breakfast on his birthday - hopefully he'll be less timid of the characters by then
We fly out on Sunday at 15:15 (Easy Jet) getting in around 18:30 then a TGV to Disney.
Our provisional plans are play it by ear when we arrive (the flights seem to be back on track!), food at either the Chuck Wagon or Annette's.
Monday breakfast at the Chuck Wagon, possibly pop into Salon Mickey, then lunch somewhere, food at either Annette's or Chuck Wagon (whichever we didn't do the night before).
First stop will be the Castle for Amélie's dragon! IASM - they ask for the song constantly in the car (track 46 on the CD player), Dumbo, the rail road, the steamboats, then play by ear.
Tuesday, character breakfast then off to the Studios, decide who's taking Amélie on the Tower of Terror - she's a thrill seeker! No real plans for the day, see some stuff, have some fun! Probably counter service for lunch, see how hungry we are at night.
Wednesday, back to the park, do some of the other bits we've missed, possibly a buffet lunch, tea somewhere nice!
Thursday, up early (our kids aren't early risers) for EMH, breakfast in the park if possible do some more and then a nice lunch, back to the hotel for 2pm for Ezyshuttle to take us home :-(
We'll probably do Panoramagique, a trip to the Rain Forest Cafe, beyond that, no real plans other than eat, stand in queues, multiple toilet stops, lots of ice cream (for me), collapse at the end of the night!
Only 7 days.....
